The Houston Chapter of SMRP will be having its 2nd annual MaRS (Maintenance and Reliability Symposium) at Brady’s Landing Restaurant February 28, 2008 from 7am – 5 pm. The Symposium will include panel discussions and technical presentations on subjects such as Business Management, Process Reliability, Equipment Reliability, People Skills, and Work Management. An opportunity to take the CMRP Exam will also be available.
The keynote speaker for the Maintenance and Reliability Symposium (MaRS) this year will be Paul Barringer. He is a reliability consultant with more than 40 years of engineering and manufacturing experience. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Texas and named as the inventor in six U. S. patents. Mr. Barringer is the author of several training courses: Reliability Engineering Principles, Process Reliability and Life Cycle Cost and is a contributor to The New Weibull Handbook, a reliability text published by Dr. Robert B. Abernathy.
The Symposium will include a continental breakfast, lunch buffet, and evening reception.
